Love Notes
There's something sweet and special about a handwritten valentine. That's the idea behind LOVE NOTES, a project I created for Portland Downtown. For LOVE NOTES, we gave people a blank canvas to share why they love Portland. The response was tremendous, and we were blown away by the outpouring of love and creativity. Clearly, it's easy to gush about our little city by the sea!

Portland's Tiniest Parklet: A Viral Sensation
Some of the best marketing moments are those that come as a complete surprise. My all-time favorite centered around two simple, unassuming posts on Instagram. It’s the stuff of pure joy and magic, and I hope you love the story.

Hope is in the Air
After the long, uncertain winter of 2020, signs of hope emerged as COVID vaccines rolled out in the spring. At Portland Downtown, we wanted to find a way to thank and uplift the small businesses who, against all odds, weathered the pandemic. We collaborated with Tall Story Pictures to create a short video that perfectly matched the tone of the time: cautious optimism.

Drive Less, Do More
To encourage multimodal modes of transportation in Portland, I coordinated the DRIVE LESS, DO MORE campaign in partnership with Warp + Weft. We launched the campaign with a lively kickoff party in Monument Square – and branded street banners, radio promos and TV spots added to the buzz. Click the button to view the TV ad – and keep your eyes peeled for my big cameo as a METRO bus rider!

PAE Voices Series
I was delighted to develop a brand new lecture series for Portland Adult Education. PAE VOICE SERIES brings together business, cultural and community leaders to share their unique perspectives on a wide range of topics. Our inaugural event featured entrepreneurial women who are creating change in Maine and beyond. The conversation was electric and inspiring, and it set an exciting precedent for future sessions!

Monument Square Tree Cam
A pandemic pivot project instantly became a new tradition from the moment we launched the MONUMENT SQUARE TREE CAM. Created as a crowd-free alternative to the annual Tree Lighting, the Tree Cam provided a “virtual window” for onlookers to enjoy a 24-hour livestream of Monument Square – from the comfort of their own home. The Tree Cam was a huge hit – and it remains active today!
